Richard Ferdinand, MS, PT, has worked as a registered physical therapist since 1973. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from California State University-Long Beach in 1973, and a Master of Science degree in physical therapy from Boston University in 1978. Mr. Ferdinand specializes in the treatment of work-related injuries, as well as injury prevention and ergonomics. He has taught back injury prevention programs to special education employees across the state of California, using techniques adapted from those proven to reduce patient handling injuries in hospitals.
