Scott Hirschfeld has worked as an educator in schools and with nonprofit organizations for more than 30 years. He began his career as a classroom teacher and staff developer in the New York City public school system. He went on to serve as a curriculum developer and program director for various education initiatives at the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and UNICEF USA, where he focused on diversity, anti-prejudice, social justice and global learning topics. Scott has an MS in elementary education and an MEd in educational leadership from Bank Street College of Education.
