This course is a concise tutorial designed for all staff members. Life-threatening allergies are steadily increasing, and all employees must know the basics and be ready to respond to ensure the safety of students and staff. This course covers examples of life-threatening allergies that are common among students, the definition and explanation of anaphylaxis, symptoms of anaphylaxis and anaphylactic shock, an overview of Epi-Pens and their proper use, and importance health care considerations in minimizing allergic reactions.
