This course provides staff with an understanding of the issues surrounding indoor air quality, including the adverse effects of poor IAQ, and some helpful practices for improving the indoor air quality in your facility. The course will review the impact of poor air quality, common indoor air pollutants, and essential good practices.

Rich Prill

Rich Prill is a Building Science & Indoor Air Quality Specialist at the Washington State University Extension Energy Program since 1996. He is a nationally-recognized expert in indoor air quality for residential, commercial and institutional buildings. His focus has included indoor air quality in schools, state, municipal and tribal buildings, as well as residential housing. In addition to IAQ, Rich’s expertise includes ventilation, energy efficiency, weatherization, sustainability and renewable energy systems.
